Kind and Generous ~ By Natalie Merchant
You've been so kind and generous, I don't know how you keep on giving
For your kindness I'm in debt to you For your selflessness, my admiration
For everything you've done, you know I'm bound, I'm bound to thank you for it....
Oh, I want to thank you for so many gifts you gave with love and tenderness,
I wanna thank you, I want to thank you for your generosity, the love and the honesty that you gave me
I want to thank you, show my gratitude, my love and my respect for you, I wanna thank you
Oh I want to thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you...
As a community, we got through another year. Sleepovers, field trips, pizza parties, dance classes and soccer games are the events that fill the weeks, but it is really the moments that we remember. Like watching my son voraciously read a novel and want to "clean his room" in exchange for the next book in the series or the day I walked into my daughter's room to find her belting a medley of Taylor Swift and High School Musical songs at the top of her lungs - seared into my memory forever. LOL. Many thanks to you all for creating a school community that made those memories possible.
Together we met our goal of raising $60,000 for St. Clare School. These funds will support our programs and help fill out the school budget. Together we ensured that our kids had a school where all all kids could thrive. Together we supported each other as we adjusted to change. THANK YOU.
Special thanks to the following community leaders who all played huge roles in creating memories for the entire St. Clare community this past month and throughout the year:
Thank you for your generosity, the care you took with each other and for being shining examples of love.

It’s love that makes the sunny days a little brighter yet.
It’s love that makes our memories to precious to forget.
It’s love that makes our sorrows easier to bear,
LOVE that makes the joys of life so wonderful to share.
Words cannot express my deep gratitude for your energy, enthusiasm and support evidenced in the numerous fundraisers this year. I appreciate all the work you have done for our students. There have been many wonderful and encouraging comments about our parent community.
“Love” is our theme for this school year and you have done well sharing Christian love with each other. Thank you for working so hard to make this challenging year a memorable and highly successful one!
May God’s grace be with you always.
In loving gratitude,
Madeline Rader
The St. Clare Festival is approaching fast and we need your junk, one man's junk is another man's treasure!
Please bring furniture, Aunt Mary's vintage napkins or jewelry, tablecloths or any thing you do not want. This is a great time to spring clean for a good cause.
We do not accept shoes, electronics or clothing...other than a few vintage do dads.
You can drop off your items this Thursday from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the St. Clare Garage. If you need someone to pick up your items, please call Stacey Thorn at (408) 094-8661 and arrange for a convenient time.

We are still clarifying which positions are open but here are a few that are definitely ready for someone to take on: Secretary, Winter Event Chairs, Cookie Dough Sales, Wrapping Paper, Volunteer Coordinator, Pasta Dinner, Halloween Party and Dinner Night Out Coordinator. If you are interested, please contact Richard Gutierrez at rich0274@gmail.com or Sheila Dowd at sheila@dowd.org.
